You'll partner with the Director of Data Engineering & Analytics and technical leads to translate data strategies into executable delivery plans. You'll coordinate across data engineering, data streaming, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery in a culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics programmes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and release
Partner with product managers and technical leadership to translate data and analytics requirements into executable delivery plans
Coordinate across data engineering, data streaming, and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions
Manage complex project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent workstreams
Drive delivery using agile methodologies, ensuring transparency and predictable outcomes
Establish clear governance, reporting, and communication across technical and business stakeholders
Proactively identify programme risks and work with teams to resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum
Track and report on delivery metrics, milestones, and outcomes to leadership
Support planning and prioritisation activities with the Director of Data Engineering & Analytics and technical leads
Continuously improve delivery processes and ways of working across the data engineering and analytics organisations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience delivering technical projects in software or product-led organisations
Strong programme management skills, including scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder management
Proven ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams
Experience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Understanding of data engineering workflows, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, and API development
Familiarity with analytics and reporting technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Preferred
Experience delivering data engineering projects, including data pipelines, warehouses, or platforms
Experience delivering analytics or business intelligence initiatives
Understanding of modern data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience coordinating delivery across distributed teams in multiple locations
Familiarity with data streaming technologies and API development
Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
