HOKE COUNTY Pool Lifeguard Parks and Recreation Department in Raeford, North Carolina

Job description

Do you want to make a difference this summer by keeping others safe? Our Pool Lifeguards prevent accidents, provide first aid, enforce the pool rules, and help keep the facilities clean and orderly. We'll train you in techniques other lifeguards aren't even aware of -- and pay you for the training time. Work location James A. leach Aquatic Recreation Center. Schedule: 4 TO 8 HOUR SHIFTS. Works under the direction of the Aquatic Manager.

Lifeguards must be Certified

Qualifications

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

and#149;

Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

and#149; First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred), Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification (Preferred)

Conditions of Employment:

Applicants must pass a criminal history background check and may be subject to alcohol and drug testing.

Salary:

$9.00 to $17.00 per hour (based on certification) + Paid Training and Certification
