Description
Robert Half has partnered with a dynamic client on their search for a Senior Accountant. As the Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of core accounting functions, support monthly close and reporting, and collaborate with leadership and operations in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review comprehensive monthly financial statements along with detailed supporting schedules.
Create and post journal entries while performing account reconciliations and analyzing variances.
Generate and assess job cost and project-specific financial reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate on commission processing and conduct thorough reviews of sales agreements.
Provide support during external audits and enforce adherence to organizational and internal control standards.
Ensure consistent compliance with accounting practices and regulatory requirements.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:
5+ years of G/L and Financial Reporting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel
Strong Excel skills and general ledger experience
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving.
