M&T Bank Associate Analyst, Family Office Advisory in Radnor, Pennsylvania
Overview:
The role provides high-level administrative, analytical, and project support to the Head of Wealth & Planning and Trust Services and plays a key role in supporting senior leaders.
The position works independently under general supervision. This position interacts with internal partners, external custodians, external advisors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
Provide direct administrative support to the Head of Wealth & Planning and Trust Services, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, and expense management.
Support senior leadership through preparation of materials, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions.
Interact regularly with the Wealth Leadership Team and internal partners across Wealth Management.
Research, Analysis & Family Office Support
Conduct research and identify relevant articles, industry trends, and data; summarize findings for leadership review.
Assist with Family Office analyst responsibilities, including data analysis, reporting, and ad hoc analytical support.
Support the overall delivery and enhancement of the virtual family office platform and related systems.
Projects & Process Improvement
Provide support on departmental initiatives, strategic projects, and continuous process improvement efforts.
Assist in developing presentations and materials for leadership using PowerPoint and related tools.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance research, analysis, and productivity where appropriate.
Risk, Compliance & Controls
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in alignment with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management as appropriate.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators.

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; or, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of four (4) years of higher education and/or relevant work experience.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including advanced PowerPoint skills.
Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in collaborative team environments.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $24.87 - $41.45 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
