How you’ll make an impact in this role

Direct services, workflow and resources for one or more of the assigned specialty nursing areas:

Emergency/Triage, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.

  • Lead the recruitment, development, and mentorship of a high-performing specialty nursing team to drive superior patient outcomes and foster a culture of service excellence.

  • Direct all clinical operations, including patient assessment and comprehensive care plan development, to ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Create clear, strategic departmental objectives that align with ethical and medical standards, actively removing operational obstacles to achieve key quality and financial targets.

  • Manage the specialty area's financial health by preparing and monitoring operational budgets and optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency and integrity.

  • Support seamless cross-functional partnerships with physicians, administrators, and organizational directors to streamline workflows and maximize the efficient use of critical staff and resources.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.

  • 10 years of experience preferred.

  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.

  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
