ManpowerGroup Manufacturing Engineer in Racine, Wisconsin

Our client, a Job Shop focused on machining metal parts, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a wide range of tasks, including leveraging software to translate engineering designs into efficient manufacturing processes. The role must work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturability issues, implement lean manufacturing principles, and develop cost-effective solutions for new and existing products. This role will not support candidates with visa requirements and there will be no relocation fees. Candidates local to SE WI will be given top considerations. This is a direct hire status position.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Racine, WI

Pay: $80K-$90K. plus benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain 3D and 2D models and drawings in SolidWorks; and desire CAM Works

  • Generate and maintain parts, BOM’s, product process routings, and control plans within ERP system (Plex experience a plus)

  • Develop and write standardized CNC programs utilizing G&M code, conversational, and mazatrol

  • Utilize available software and tools to develop detailed cost profiles for new quote opportunities

  • Interface with supervisors, leads, and operators in the development of tools, fixtures, and machines to support existing and new product and process design

  • Support production; creating and maintaining product and process documentation; monitor process and equipment performance and identify and implement process improvement activities to increase/optimize yield, efficiency, and/or throughput

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering

  • Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience within a manufacturing facility

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks/CAMWorks software

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques

  • Knowledge of G-code programming and troubleshooting capability
