JOB REQUIREMENTS: Hiring immediately for an Assembler on 1st shift (5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)! API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. What You Will Do: The Assembler performs tasks that are necessary to the production process by independently aiding in the fabrication, inspection, and packaging of component parts and products. Pull parts to assemble, test, and skid/pack per drawings, specifications, and procedures. Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specification indicated on the blueprints. Prepare units for shipment. Construct skids and boxes as required. Paints, stencils, and affixes nameplates as required. Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations. Maintain work area in an organized manner. Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of API. What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools. Ability to read blueprints and use tape measure. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Physical Requirements for Manufacturing Production Employees Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift). Walking: Frequent walking throughout the production floor. Lifting and Carrying: Regularly lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment. Pushing and Pulling: Use of manual or mechanical means to push/pull carts, equipment, or materials.
