Crops: Annuals and Perennials Planting, sticking, trimming, or patching plugs and cuttings. Watering, fertilizing, spraying and providing any other care or pesticide plants may need. Laying plants down, pulling orders, loading carts. Moving, hanging, and spacing crops. Loading and unloading carts and conveyor belts. Maintenance of facility inside and out including mowing, weeding, cleaning, snow removal, sweeping, etc. Putting pots in trays, stickering or labeling product, working on planting or sticking line. Filling pots and flats with media to have ready for planting. Loading and unloading trucks and trailers. Equipment maintenance along with Ag Equipment Operator.
Additional job duties: Working in onsite show beds, stock beds and fields. Assist with plant production to include trimming, splitting, potting, and moving plants into and out of on-site greenhouses and fields. Workers will assist with plant growing to include weeding, planting beds and fields, working in on-site landscaping of show beds, trimming, pruning plant inventory, and moving plants into and out of on-site greenhouses and fields. Assist with plant shipment to include cleaning, organizing, moving plants into and out of on-site greenhouses and fields, watering, weeding, boxing, and tagging plants for shipping and loading trucks.
Farm Equipment Operation: Workers may be required to operate farm equipment during daily operations, as an incidental activity. Before any worker is required to operate any farm equipment, workers will be instructed in the safety and operation of the tractor before driving the tractor. Tractors should be driven in a manner to protect operator, other workers, products, trees, crops, and equipment. Repeated failure to obey safety requirements and operating instructions may result in termination.
General Maintenance: Workers will perform various duties for upkeeping of the nursery property, lawns, gardens, greenhouses, fields, equipment, and buildings. These duties may include painting of nursery buildings, fence repair, mowing, weed eating, and other general building and ground maintenance

Responsabilidades principales
Plantación y propagación: Plantar, clavar, recortar o reparar plántulas y esquejes.

Manejo de cultivos: Colocar plantas, preparar pedidos, cargar carritos, mover, colgar y espaciar cultivos.
Logística interna: Cargar y descargar carritos y cintas transportadoras.
Mantenimiento general: Cortar césped, desmalezar, limpiar, remover nieve, barrer y mantener las instalaciones.
Preparación de producto: Colocar macetas en bandejas, etiquetar o poner adhesivos, trabajar en la línea de plantación o propagación.
Preparación de medios: Llenar macetas y bandejas con sustrato para tenerlas listas para plantar.
Transporte: Cargar y descargar camiones y remolques.
Mantenimiento de equipos: Operar y dar mantenimiento a equipos agrícolas.

Trabajar en camas de exhibición, camas de stock y campos.
