Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Developer specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), you will convert business and IT process definitions into automated solutions that enhance service delivery. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient and scalable automation solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Design and Develop Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop automated solutions using RPA tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Powerautomate, and IBM RPA.
Implement Automation: Apply expertise in native chatbot support, natural language processing (NLP), optical character recognition (OCR), and other RPA features to deliver efficient automation solutions.
Configure and Integrate Tools: Utilize programming and tool configuration skills to integrate RPA tools with other systems and ensure seamless operation.
Onboard and Train Team Members: As a senior RPA developer, onboard and train new team members on the operational aspects of RPA solutions, including network connections and tool integration.
Manage Solution Delivery: Ensure efficient and scalable delivery of automation solutions, adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
Required technical and professional expertise
RPA Tool Expertise: Exposure to various robotic process automation (RPA) tools, such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Powerautomate, and IBM RPA, including native chatbot support, natural language processing (NLP), and optical character recognition (OCR).
Programming and Configuration Skills: Experience working with programming languages and tool configuration to integrate RPA tools with other systems and ensure seamless operation.
SDLC Methodologies: Exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies to ensure efficient and scalable delivery of automation solutions.
RPA Solution Implementation: Experience working with RPA features, such as document processing, IVR/IVA, Workflow management, and native RPA connector/copilot for core Generative AI features.
IDCP and IBM Consulting Advantage Platform: Familiarity with IDCP (IBM delivery central platform) and IBM Consulting Advantage platform, consisting of Methodx, assets, and assistants.
