Manulife Project Manager in Quezon City, Philippines

Job Profile
Executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analysis to support process and project improvements
Managing and coordinating business and technical projects through all phases of initiation, development, and implementation
Working with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation of projects
Ensuring that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectives
Identifying, analyzing, mitigating, documenting, and controlling project risks
Providing effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and management
Identifying resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members
Driving the assessment and management and mitigation of project risks that impede successful project delivery
Reporting on and manages project resource tracking and budgets for project area
Understanding nature of impact and creates lessons learned for future delivery Strong contributor able to enable others within immediate team
Job posting description
Primarily responsible for the effective management of priorities through high quality administration and follow through of deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Financial / Investments, Legal Management degree holder or other relevant post-secondary education preferred.
At least 3 years of BA or consultant experience with Information Technology, Financial Services or Middle and Back office operations enabling integrated solutions to optimize processes, technology, data etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (including Visio, Project)
Experience in Agile Methodology is an advantage
Able to work in different shift schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
Quick to adapt with proven experience learning new products, technologies and tools
Thorough knowledge of analysis with regards to information gathering, requirements writing, UAT testing etc.
Ability to identify and pursue continuous improvements
Excellent negotiating skills and an ability to manage inter-departmental work relationships.
Strong influencing skills with ability to make sound recommendations
Previous experience in the financial services, wealth management or insurance industry
Must pass current job expectations and meet performance metrics.
