POSITION SUMMARY:
Analyst, HR Data & Technology within AEI’s Global HR Technology and Analytics team focuses on optimizing HR systems and processes by performing regular governance, engaging with HR key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvements.
This role will focus on HR functional systems and processes working closely with IT and collaborating with global HR business process owners and local HR system admins in support of maintaining data quality, developing process improvement, troubleshooting of issues, and HR system training for SuccessFactors Employee Central module.
Analyst, HR Data & Technology supports the team to enhance, implement, and govern core HR data and processes. Reporting to Manager, HR Technology with the goal of building how HR systems can be optimized to provide excellent employee experience that supports overall direction of HR People and Culture organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global data support within SuccessFactors Employee Central for Organizational Structure, Position Management, and Employee Data with defined accountabilities such as workflow management, data governance, business and field configuration, picklist, and country-specific requirements
Review and ensure adherence and implementation of global and country-specific field configurations in SuccessFactors as defined in Employee Central workbook
Provide support for complex organizational and employee data changes, including reorganization, mass employee changes, and intercompany transfer
Support continuous improvement of all HR system platforms from SuccessFactors and other HR systems (e.g. SAP HR ECC, country-specific payroll systems, timekeeping platforms), including planned releases/upgrades and approved projects in HR Technology pipeline
Collaborate with IT HR support and HR business process owners to identify improvement opportunities, recommend changes, develop implementation plan and timeline, and execute functional solutions for existing HR core systems and other downstream functional systems
Perform investigation on identified issues and establish root cause analysis to create sustainable long-term solution
Participate in all HR technology projects and enhancements with the HR data and technology team and respective HR leaders for system enhancements as needed
Participate in planned system testing for organization-wide projects such as SAP S/4 HANA with impact on global HR data and processes as needed
Analyze enquiries and change requests raised by HR business process owners and local HR system admins and provide resolution within the agreed-upon timeframe based on complexity of requirements and business priority
Respond to queries related to HR data and technology with the support of materials such as frequently asked questions (FAQs) database and update documentation accordingly to maintain alignment with global HR processes and practices
Develop and maintain HR system and data governance plan and perform assigned tasks (including data audits) to ensure data quality and integrity of organizational and employee data and modules within SuccessFactors are functioning as expected
Develop, document, and maintain all current and new HR information systems business process workflows, job instructions, job aids to ensure efficiency, relevance, and compliance for audits
Participate in all HR Technology Projects and Enhancements with the HR Data and Technology Team and respective HR leaders for system enhancements as needed
Attend regular and ad-hoc HR Technology discussion as subject-matter expert (SME) for HR Data and Technology to address any HR technology-related topics
Assist with internal, external audits, and internal controls by creating and generating required process workflows
Ensure compliance with data protection laws and best practices in HR technology and stay informed with latest trends and advancements in HR technology
Develop strong collaboration with country HR system admins and leaders and IT team members on issues, queries, and enhancements related to HR data and technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or equivalent
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in multinational organization
Three (3) or more years of experience (data transaction and system) in SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM (human capital management)
High proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Strong collaboration with individuals from various functions (primarily in HR and IT) and level in organization (from staff to people leader)
Experience working with generating data from multiple sources, organize data sets into report, and build analysis and insights to address business’ needs
Experience with projects and/or tasks that require strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong background and ability to handle highly confidential and personal information with integrity and care
Able to independently partner with non-technical users such as local HR user to understand their needs and translate needs into technical process and configuration requirements for IT
Proactive about identifying problems and continuous improvement with focus on data integrity
Must have strong interpersonal skills, manage relationship with stakeholders
Must be able to work and support at night shift for stakeholders located in US, Mexico, and Europe
