Eaton Corporation Small Project Take-Off Specialist in Queretaro, Mexico
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Small Project Take-Off Specialist.
What you’ll do:
The Small Project Take‑Off Specialist supports the district inside sales team to exceed market service level expectations for quotation and budgetary requests. This role focuses on developing foundational knowledge of Eaton products, pricing structures, quotation tools, and sales processes, while building an understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and industry practices.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quotation packages for simple to moderately complex projects by applying commercial and technical knowledge
Support on‑time quotation response in alignment with district service level agreements (SLAs)
Assist with order closure support and sales execution activities
Interpret customer requirements, specifications, and drawings; ensure technical compatibility of quoted solutions by collaborating with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and customers as needed
Maintain and support quotation and project databases
Support district lead nurturing and pipeline activities
Manage the order handoff process between sales and project execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of services projects
Serve as a technical and commercial resource to internal and external stakeholders (as appropriate) for quotations and small projects related to power distribution, power protection, and electrical solutions
Review and interpret customer plans, specifications, and scope documentation
Define accurate bills of material (BOM), competitive pricing levels, and shipment cycles based on market segment requirements
Proactively resolve customer issues by leveraging existing resources or assisting in the development of resolution procedures
Support the establishment and maintenance of strong commercial relationships with internal and external customers

Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience
1–2 years of experience in sales, quotations, or a commercial/technical support role
Experience or exposure to a manufacturing or industrial organization preferred
Technical Knowledge
Commercial or sales experience (electrical assemblies knowledge is a plus)
Sales and/or marketing exposure
Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
Working knowledge of Eaton systems is preferred (e.g., BidManager, Vista, Order Center, C360), or ability to learn quickly
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
