Job Description
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a growing practice delivering high-quality Physical and Occupational Therapy services directly in patients’ homes and community environments. Our clinicians focus on what matters most — helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and overall quality of life where they live.
We’re currently seeking motivated Occupational Therapists who want the flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships that come with home-based care.

Pay: $75-$90 per visit
Location: In and around Queens

Responsibilities:
Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area
Provide 1:1 treatment
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care
Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques
Plan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.
Qualifications
Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.
Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory
Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.
Additional Information
The anticipated pay range for this position is $75-90 per visit . Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
