We are seeking aSeasonalLoading Dock Team Supervisorto p lay an essential role in the US Open experience. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the loading dock team and ensuring inventory levels are accurate and correlate with inventory.
The Role
Responsible for supervising a team of up to 10 employees
Manage loading and unloading of all mail trucks in a safe and efficient manner
Scan all incoming packages into a shipping/receiving software system
Coordinate with beverage supervisor to distribute beverage orders as needed
Oversee the organization of incoming and outgoing mail packages by carrier
Ensure the delivery of all US Open packages to appropriate offices and departments
Maintain a clean and safe USTA Loading Dock at all times
All other duties as assigned
Who You Are
Basic proficiency in computers and ability to learn the inventory management software
Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform
Must maintain a positive demeanor
2 years supervisory experience required
Excellent communication skills
Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament and be available days, nights, weekends and extended hours
Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Valid Driver’s License and Forklift Operator experience strongly preferred

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $21.00
