The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us – Join our growing mining, tunneling, energy, and major infrastructure practice, where you will contribute to some of Canada’s most complex underground and geostructural projects. From deep excavations to tunnel support systems, you will shape resilient solutions that protect communities and support large‑scale development across Québec and the rest of Canada.

Your Impact

  • Design and analyze geotechnical and geostructural systems such as retaining walls, excavation support, and underground structures in soil or rock.

  • Ensure alignment with Canadian and international standards (CSA, Eurocodes, ITA/AFTES, and applicable regulations).

  • Perform advanced calculations in soil‑structure interaction, stability, and numerical modeling.

  • Prepare engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

  • Supervise and validate work produced by junior engineers and technicians.

  • Contribute to feasibility studies, planning, and cost estimation for major underground and structural works.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, structural, environmental, and transportation specialists.

  • Provide technical guidance on construction methods, risk management, and material selection.

  • Support client interactions by proposing optimized, safe, and innovative solutions.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Graduate degree in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering (or related field).

  • 8+ years of experience in soil/rock interaction, underground structures, or geostructural design.

  • Demonstrated expertise in temporary and permanent excavation shoring systems (diaphragm walls, anchors, piles, shotcrete, etc.).

  • Proficiency with advanced analysis tools (RS2/RS3, PLAXIS, MIDAS, GeoStudio, Robot, SAP2000, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and international design codes.

  • Excellent communication and technical writing capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and deliver high‑quality work under deadlines.

  • Fluency in French; bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $112,900 – $154,400

MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400
