Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGMENT ANALYST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies. You will review and evaluate budget requests. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving a range of budgetary problems such as developing alternative methods of funding. - Experience in formulation of budget estimates for programs in which funding requirements have changed significantly. - Experience with budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations. - Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with related staff at all levels through clear, courteous, and effective communication with both internal and external customers.
