Job Title : Finishing Operator

Location : Quakertown, PA

Pay : $ 24.20/hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Duration : 5-Month Contract

Adecco is hiring a Finishing Operator for a 5-month contract opportunity in Quakertown, PA. This role involves inspecting, measuring, and processing specialized products in a manufacturing environment while following strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure products visually and using microscopes to record characteristics such as Ends per Inch (EPI), Picks per Inch (PPI), width, diameter, and thickness

  • Detect defects or contamination following work instructions, SOPs, and internal standards

  • Accurately record and communicate test and inspection results

  • Collect and document data to identify trends and support process improvements

  • Operate testing equipment including optical comparators, microscopes, hot knife equipment, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM)

  • Pack products for transfer to final inspection and packaging

  • Scour (wash) products to remove contamination and spin finishes according to specifications

  • Heat set products to fix construction in their final form

  • Cut products manually or with laser cutting equipment as required

  • Perform component processes such as sewing, skeining, coiling, kitting, and heat pressing

  • Enter job quantities and time spent into ERP systems

  • Follow GMP/QSR requirements and adhere to safety protocols and gowning procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, inspection, or quality control preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs

  • Comfortable working with microscopes or precision inspection tools

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $24.20 per hour
