JOB Summary: The candidate, as key talent of Lower Powertrain team, is mainly responsible for leading to develop axle systems & components development for NPI, CPI, cost reduction and maintenance. The position is also expected to grow young engineers through providing coaching and training.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Research and develop new technology of system & components for wheel loader axle and TTT final drive, anddevelop corresponding MGPP.
Create concepts and direct the design and development of components and subsystems, such as axle ratio allocation and overall layout, housing, bevel gear subsystem/gear/bearing, differential subsystem/gear/bearing/case, final drive subsystem/gear/bearing/carrier.
Master excellent knowledge of power match and powertrain ratio allocation.
Capability of complex geometric tolerance of multiple component systems
Responsible for quality and cost, implementation forNPI, CPI and cost reduction. Work with team to meet PQVC requirements.
Follow APQP and FMEA process to evaluate new products risk, identify and resolve problems by making simulation analysis and validation plan.
Assist supervisor to grow young engineers through providing coaching and training.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
Skill Required:
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.
Product Development Life Cycle - MFG: Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables of product development life cycle in manufacturing organizations; ability to bring new or enhanced products to the marketplace.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.
Must have
Axle product knowledge and development experience from launch to production.

Machining Process knowledge
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
