Paramount Pictures Australia is the theatrical distribution and marketing arm of Paramount Pictures in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, we are responsible for bringing Paramounts global slate of event movies to local audiences through strategic release planning, marketing, publicity and strong cinema partnerships across the ANZ region.
Working closely with Paramount Pictures International and our exhibition partners, we connect worldclass storytelling with local insight, ensuring each film resonates with audiences whether its a major global franchise or a distinctive, filmmakerdriven release: We ignite stories for someone, or for everyone.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Publicity Coordinator to join our world of entertainment.
This is a permanent full-time on-site role based in Sydney (Pyrmont)
Enough about us! What youll do as our National Publicity Coordinator:
This role is responsible for providing full administrative & campaign support to the National Publicity teamto help achievethe highest level of publicity and media coverage aroundParamount Pictures theatrical releases.
This is what your day-to-day will include:
Assistand supportSnr.National Publicity Managerand National Publicity Managerwith thecoordination of publicity breaks for each film, including local interviews, syndications, and image/sound/clip requirements as directed
Cultivate strong workingrelationships with national media, talent & influencer agenciestoensure efficient communication and maximum coverage and awareness for Paramounttheatrical releasesand events
Collaborate and coordinate between Publicity, Media/Digital and Promotions departments on local influencer strategies & initiatives.
Track and reportoneditorial coverage for Paramount theatrical releases and asset launches
Coordinate andassistwithimplementation ofnationalscreening programsincludingtargeted word-of-mouth campaigns, reviewer/mediascreeningsandInfluencer/VIP screenings
Coordinate screening invitations & manageRSVPsthrough ticketing system
Manage andmaintainlocal databases (media, grassroots, influencer & celebrity) for PR team
SAP management including purchase orders, goods receipting and client payment
Campaign Reporting
Assistwithcoordination of local talent tours,mediajunketsand events
Work with Publicity team on individual film strategies and event/PR ideas
General ad hoc administrative duties as required/directed
What are we looking for in a National Publicity Coordinator? Whats important?
Excellent administration and organisational skills
2-3yearsexperience in PR, marketingand/ or Co-ordinator position
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills ability to foster productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of varying professional levels
Excellent IT skills MS Outlook, Word,Exceland PowerPoint essential
Ability to work well within a team, take direction from different people and remain calm
High levelof attention to detail and able to manage conflicting priorities
Creative flair and lateral thinking
Highly self-motivated and pride in doing great work
High levelsof integrity and honesty
These things will put you ahead of the crowd:
Exposure to working in a media/entertainmentbusiness
Marketing or Communications tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of local & international influencer landscape
