Responsibilities
Brief, operate simulator console, debrief
Augment active-duty Instructor Pilots to support required mission qualification, continuation, and upgrade training events
Instruct Instrument Refresher Course and Cockpit/Crew Resource Management, if qualified
Develop and maintain training scenarios to meet local flying objectives
Maintain understand of F-16 operational flight programs, weapons, and tactics
Maintain training and evaluation records
Qualifications
Must be a US citizen
Must have an active Secret clearance
Must currently have operational flight experience within 8 years, unless currently performing similar aircrew instruction duties
Previous fighter experience in AV-8, A-10, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-22A, F-35 or compatible aircraft as an instructor (“K” prefix)
