We're expanding our team of RN Case Managers to meet the growing needs of our department. As an RN Case Manager at MultiCare, you'll be a vital part of the multidisciplinary team-mobilizing resources, advocating for patients, and coordinating care plans that support safe and effective transitions. In this role, you'll act as an expert clinical resource, using your nursing background to evaluate and guide care decisions, participate in the development of clinical standards, and collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, patients, families, and payors. You'll bring strong assessment skills, the ability to navigate complex discharge planning, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We're looking for compassionate, confident RNs who are comfortable in fast-paced environments, passionate about care coordination, and skilled in making independent decisions to improve outcomes. This position includes a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible Registered Nurses! Position Summary We're seeking an RN Case Manager to join our incredible hospital-based team. Responsibilities You will mobilize resources and manage the system in response to patient needs You will act as an expert clinical practitioner and participate in the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines and standards of care You will apply your specialized knowledge to the activities of administration, supervision, and evaluation of nursing practice You will utilize critical thinking skills and independent decision-making regarding patient care and the collection and analysis of data Collaborate with patients, families, health care providers, payors and management Commit to achieving safe, reliable and effective health care excellence Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) Current BLS/ACLS Certification Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in specialty area About Good Samaritan Hospital MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County.
