Job Summary
Drive the process to acquire new clients and engagements and responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements. Direct the development of processes and techniques to improve operations and develop marketable service offerings. Provide input on the strategic plans for the organization. Utilize capabilities exhibiting thought leadership. Provides technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of all engagement phases. Demonstrates capabilities with minimal oversight. Scope and size of projects they contribute to are generally large in size, high in volume or they may own a significant portion of a larger project. May lead a large size effort or project team. May delegate team work assignments through various phases of an engagement. May manage projects from prospect to client deliverable.

Key Responsibilities
15-20 years of experience with at least three year in leading strategic advisory projects as project director
Leading strategic advisory consulting business for a region
At least 70% of total experience should be in power, energy and water
Led solutioning and delivery of engagements involving decarbonization, business case studies, market entry studies, road mapping, net-zero strategy, policy review and advocacy
Exposure of working in multiple countries in Southeast Asia including Philippines and Indonesia will be an added advantage
Existing Relationship at leadership level with large energy utilities in South East Asia will be an added advantage
Graduation in engineering; Post-graduation in business management is highly desirable;
Principal Consultant/Managing Director:
Lead targets and business for Strategy Planning & Optimization Solution (SPO) in the region
Work with the regional and global leadership in expanding SPO solution business in the region
Plan and execute Go to Market strategy including roadshows for the target markets for SPO offerings
Actively engage in thought leadership on relevant subjects
Acting as Project Director of consulting mandates for infrastructure advisory team
Leading solution development with support from project managers
Client management
Quality control on key deliverables for Strategy Planning & Optimization advisory mandates
Guiding Project Manager during project execution
During sales and pre-sales, oversee scoping, effort estimation, pricing, schedule and proposal development
Consulting Capability:
Transfers knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others’ knowledge and skill levels
Enhances established working relationships with team members and management from within the client’s organization
Contributes to quality review on own engagement
Ascertains and meets client expectations within scope of engagement role
Develops applicable knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques. Outlines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value
Challenges client’s current strategy and direction through persuasive argument. Defines competitive advantage and achievable value to the client through use of the strategic change components and metrics. Formulates issue-based hypotheses and develops analytical plan for testing. Contributes to analysis of impact of strategic changes by defining linkages and interdependencies.

Applies appropriate methods or recognized equivalent to identified client needs
Anticipates and resolves technical problems with occasional technical assistance from others
Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans
Contributes to quality reviews of assigned engagements

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously. Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements. 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment.
