Honeywell Sr Controllership Analyst in Pune, India
FP&A for listed entity
Assist CFO/Controller on all board related meetings and requirements – Audit Committee, Board Meeting, AOP , STRAP
Provide all the necessary information to Honeywell global from HAIL standpoint – HAIL SC meetings, quarterly updates.
Answers to the queries of external stakeholders
Tracking Competitor data
Prepare and finalize AOP for Facility, IT, & Controllership + CFO office cost and direct lines cost.
Track and manage Facilities cost and overlook allocation of same to respective businesses.
HAIL Annual Report finalization
Finalization of advance tax installment.
Internal MOS at HAIL Level
Drive HAIL level actions along with all the BU finance leaders.
Accounting, Control and Compliance
Finalization of Accounts of Legal Entity & ensure smooth Audit completion.
Overall end-to-end owner of accounting, control and compliance for the assigned entities.
Ensure entity complies with HON policies.
Exposure of IND AS, FEMA and relevant laws prevalent in India to ensure smooth completion of Statutory Audit.
Preparation of Audit Committee deck for listed entity
Ensure timely preparation/submission of all statutory compliance reporting
Business Partnership and Process Improvement
Ensure a regular connection with extended team, key stakeholders in finance and business to deliver US GAAP & IGAAP compliant financials.& FP&A related activities at legal entity level
Identify & propose process improvement/automation opportunities.
Provide financial reports, analysis, explanations and advice based on knowledge of financial info, relevant GAAP & supporting SAP systems to SBU/auditors/Management
Ensure excellent relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders.
Support implementation of Treasury, Tax and Controllership initiatives
Identify and lead process improvement opportunities, lead the project and ensure completion
Manage the ad-hoc queries from Auditors / CFO office & other stakeholders
Education and Certifications
- CA or CMA with strong academic achievements.
Required Experiences
Min 5-8 years experience with exposure to FP&A & Accounting, preferably in Big 4 Accounting firm/ Industry.
Experience of FP&A & handling financial statements of companies with international presence preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Critical
Hands on experience with SAP / Systems knowledge of SAP and HFM
Hands on experience of FP&A, Business KPI
Extensive knowledge of US GAAP & IGAAP
Good working knowledge of US GAAP, Local GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
Process orientated with excellent problem solving skills
Strong technical and analytical skills
Good business acumen including company, legal entity, regulatory and compliance design
Good communication skills
Strong, proven Customer / Service orientation mindset
Ability to multi-task at different levels and work on simultaneously on multiple priorities.
