Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager: Workday, you will lead a project team in delivering Workday solutions, ensuring that the project is completed according to the project charter or contract. You will hold performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Project Plan: Develop and manage the project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements, including both IBM and client employees and third-party vendors. • Coordinate Stakeholders: Coordinate and manage the various stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget, requiring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Deliver Project Results: Ensure the project is delivered according to the project charter or contract, meeting scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. • Collaborate with Leaders: Work closely with the Delivery Leader and Workday and Account Executives in delivering the overall program. • Implement Project Structure: Implement the project structure, including staffing requirements, to ensure successful project delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Project Management Experience: Exposure to managing projects, including developing and managing project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements. • Workday Solution Delivery: Experience working with Workday solutions, including understanding project charter or contract requirements and delivering projects accordingly. • Stakeholder Management: Exposure to coordinating and managing various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Contractual Deliverables Management: Experience working with contractual deliverables, including managing scope, cost, schedule, and ensuring project delivery meets contractual requirements. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exposure to working closely with senior leaders, including Delivery Leaders and Account Executives, to deliver programs.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Workday Implementation Knowledge: Exposure to implementing Workday solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment. Understanding of Workday modules and their integration. • Project Management Tools: Experience working with project management tools, including project planning, tracking, and reporting software. • Agile Methodologies: Exposure to agile methodologies, including iterative development, continuous improvement, and flexible response to change.
