POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Manager is responsible for the on-time delivery of Service (SLJ) projects across PAN India, ensuring adherence to industry best-in-class safety and quality standards. The role requires providing leadership direction, guidance, and support to Program Specialists, Program Supervisors, and Senior Program Supervisors.

This support includes administrative oversight, forecasting and planning, risk identification and mitigation, problem solving, change order management, billing and payment collections, on-time job closures, and project-to-service conversions.

The core responsibilities also encompass project execution excellence with 100% GDM Process compliance by achieving all defined project metrics, ensuring value delivery, and driving customer satisfaction to get repeated business. Additionally, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the assigned technical workforce, focusing on skill enhancement, capability building, and team development.

  2. Overall responsibility for completing assigned installation projects

  3. Ensures on time delivery of projects, within scope with zero or positive deviation.

  4. Leads creation and maintenance of the project plan. Works with the customer’s project management to coordinate major milestones and resolve schedule issues.

  5. Monitors the project processes to identify opportunities for improving the project financial results on the basis of project changes and events (schedule, scope, hindrances etc.) and initiates/takes action to obtain these.

  6. Manage project specific install operations teams in the effective adoption, implementation and compliance with HBS Global Design Model (GDM), GPMO policies, Cora PPM processes, procedures, PMI tools and business best practices.

3.Finance

  1. Ownership for assigned Project financial performance. Monitors financial performance on a monthly basis and reviews estimates versus actuals across their project deck to continuously improve Install operational metrics. Actively uses Change Order Management processes to increase revenue and minimize GM deviation

4.Cost Control & Productivity

  1. Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.

  2. Controls cost and maximize productivity through the utilization of effective project management tools, processes and products.

5.Estimate and Risk Reviews

  1. Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts quotations, where applicable, are complete and documented.

  2. Participates in risk review and sales to operations handover meetings for assigned projects.

6.Resouce Planning

  1. Ensures projects are resourced properly. Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors and HAIL to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available. Manages selection and oversight of subcontractors for different jobs in conjunction, where appropriate, with supply team.

7.Performance Management

  1. Manage the performance management process, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching, training, career planning, development, salary administration and reward and recognition for assigned Personnel.

  1. Partner with other Project Managers to ensure that the most effective utilization of resources within the Regions.

  2. Build an effective team that is committed to organizational goals and fosters collaboration among team members and between teams.

  3. Develops an effective relationships with the Sales and Service teams so as ensure, effective sales to operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources, maximized pull through of service and projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

  1. Engineering / Management degree (Desired)

  2. PMI PMP Certification (Desired)

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  1. 10 years experience in IBMS business and team management

  2. Thorough knowledge of Project operations and financial processes

  3. Working knowledge in SAP, Power BI, Tableau Reports

  4. Capabilities to support Connected Buildings Strategy and Digital transformation objectives across HBS

  5. Demonstrated ability to lead a team
