Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Senior HCM (Human Capital Management) Technical Consultant responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of PeopleSoft HCM modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, deep knowledge of HCM processes, and hands-on experience in PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application. This role involves working closely with business analysts, functional leads, and other technical team members to deliver robust HCM solutions aligned with business requirements.

Detailed Description

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver solutions on customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.

Skill / Experience Requirements:

  1. 8 plus years of relevant experience in PeopleSoft HCM.

  2. Strong expertise across PeopleTools.

  3. Engineering Graduation in any discipline or MCA Degree.

  4. Lead technical design, development, and upgrade/implementation/enhancement/support of PeopleSoft HCM modules.

  5. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

  6. Develop, test, and deploy customizations, interfaces, reports, and enhancements using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker, etc.).

  7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within PeopleSoft HCM modules.

  8. Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and data migrations.

  9. Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and business users to understand and refine requirements.

  10. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices and Oracle/PeopleSoft standards.

  11. Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities.

  12. Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to junior team members.

  13. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, personal drive, flexibility, team player, problem solving, influencing and negotiating skills and organizational awareness and sensitivity, engagement delivery, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing and client management.

  14. Good technical leadership capability with strong planning and follow up skills, mentorship, Work Allocation, Monitoring and status updates to Project Manager

  15. Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of complex Technical issues/problems. Interact with client frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables.
