Citigroup Pega LSA Development Lead - Vice President in Pune, India
The Application Development Senior Manager (C13) will lead and manage a team of application developers, ensuring the successful design, development, implementation, and support of high-volume, real-time applications. This role requires a strong technical leader with deep expertise in PEGA, capable of driving end-to-end application lifecycle management from initial design through to post-production support. The Senior Manager will be responsible for fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team, aligning development efforts with business objectives and architectural standards
Solid understanding and experience with PEGA deployment pipelines and application performance tuning.
Well-versed in UNIX/Linux environments and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with real-time integration patterns (e.g., Kafka, messaging queues, APIs).
Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with microservices architecture and GEN AI solutions.
Qualifications:
12+ years of progressive experience in application development, with at least 3- 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Demonstrable experience managing teams with PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) certified staff.
Proven track record of designing, developing, and supporting high-volume, real-time applications.
Extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Experience as Applications Development Manager
Stakeholder and people management experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Proven project management skills
Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
Strong hands-on expertise in PEGA platform (including PEGA 24/25 and PEGA 8.8.X), with relevant certifications (LSA or equivalent experience).
