Citigroup Infrastructure Senior Analyst, Cloud Engineer-Assistant Vice President in Pune, India
The Infrastructure Senior Analyst/ Cloud Engineer is responsible for implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to help modernization of applications systems on Cloud/Containerization platforms.
Key Responsibilities: The role will include, but not limited to the following
Manage infrastructure transformations, including non-strategic migrations and cloud adoption on OpenShift/ Docker/ Container Platforms. (Private/Public)
Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and deliver enterprise solutions.
Conduct due diligence on infrastructure requirements and implement strategic and forward-looking architecture/technology solutions.
Implement industry best practices, prioritizing production stability and availability when designing solutions.
Strong working relationships with technology teams, project management teams and ability to communicate at all levels.
Lend support to various application teams by organizing infrastructure related scope of work in Cybersecurity/ Vulnerability assessment and planning to meet tight deadlines.
Work with the core development teams with proactive communications to solicit their prompt feedback and approvals, to ensure the timely delivery of requirements. Identify business impacts and potential business process changes for any new developments
Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of developers and Citi Technology Infrastructure teams to meet the deliverables and schedule of an infrastructure solution within a larger application project.
Support application teams by organizing infrastructure-related work and planning to meet deadlines.
Support development community. This includes documenting systems, database and middleware design as well as infrastructure requests, contributing to the delivery and Go Live of application components.
Experience in managing infrastructure build for business-critical applications as well as End of Vendor support upgrades.
Manage daily tasks and activities with development leads to meet deliverables and schedules for data solution components within broader application projects.
Support application teams by organizing infrastructure-related work and planning to meet deadlines.
Partner with other infra leads across business departments and service delivery management teams to drive program governance and reporting (Financial, Quality and Control, Technology initiative trends, variances, etc.)
Experience and Skills:
Experience
Over 8 years of experience working in Technology group as DevOps/ Infra Delivery manager
4+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Configuration, Build, Deployment, Release Management and Infrastructure Design is required
Specialist knowledge of Source code repositories like Github or Bitbucket; CI/CD systems like Jenkins or Harness is required
Intermediate knowledge of identity management and access control systems (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, PowerBroker, PAM, etc.)
Intermediate knowledge of containers and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Intermediate knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk AIM
Good background in the financial services and banking industry is a plus
Strong knowledge of infrastructure project management including vendor engagement
Experience in writing range of technology physical and logical requirements and, Tech stack Functional Requirements Document, Build document, Dependencies mapping, etc.
Experience in driving business results through effective use of technology solutions
Experience with Infrastructure reporting and presentation
Skills
Experience in Cloud based technologies, Micro services, OpenShift, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.
Exposure level skills in SQL, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Kafka, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss
Experience in driving Container adoption and managing Infrastructure projects for Enterprise Container Solutions/OpenShift/ Cloud by defining scope, dependencies and priorities
Knowledge of industry standard tools e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
Intermediate level skills in SQL, Windows, Linux, Databases, Middle tier
Project Management experience: gathering scope, creating work breakdown structure and dependencies, tracking cost and time variance
Effective communication skills
Strong relationship builder, works as a partner with multiple stakeholders and business areas
A self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
