A Day in the Life

Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • You will contribute to building a strong and knowledgeable team to provide HRBO operational support and services to HRBP’s and VPs of Medtronic on HR topics.

  • You will lead the implementation of processes, procedures, and policies necessary to manage a multi-tiered shared service HR while driving towards standardization at the same time.

  • You will consult, advise, and collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners to ensure optimum operation of HR applications and services.

  • You will work on Workday on various reports for supporting HRBP & VP requests. To validate and analyze data reports.

  • You will be responsible for preparing Ad-hoc reports, HR PMO Dashboards & Trend Analysis basis on the requirements.

  • Act as a Data Steward for their group or region – Attend Data Steward meetings – Facilitate data audits for their group or region – Provide project management support for organizational realignments.

  • Regular review of WD transactions and action appropriately in line with working with different stakeholders.

  • To work on Workday Case Management to communicate with employees. To respond the cases assigned to HRBO within defined TAT and to resolve accordingly.

  • Together with Team Members you will define, review, update, and audit adherence to standardized work. You will identify, resolve and/or escalate as appropriate problems that arise using A3 DMAIC process to identify root cause of issues.

  • Offboarding: Execute the full offboarding lifecycle supporting ER Ops

  • Compliance & Reporting: Monitor compliance with local labour laws, internal policies, and generate HR reports for audits.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving HR processes, workflows, and tools to boost department efficiency

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in HR Operations / Shared Services

  • Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with people at all management levels.

  • Time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently, Able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.

  • Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information

  • Minimum experience of 2 years in HR domain
