We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Delivery Management

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver agreed outcomes alongside one or more Product Owners, supporting day-to-day planning and delivery against the product roadmap

  • Drive end-to-end delivery across the lifecycle (initiation, design and delivery), ensuring business value is realised and technical debt is managed appropriately.

  • Provide timely, accurate programme reporting including status, milestones, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) in line with governance and “golden source” standards.

  • Facilitate planning and delivery ceremonies in line with HSBC’s Agile framework (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)).

  • Manage risks and issues proactively, working with Product Owners/Delivery Leads and stakeholders to unblock delivery and meet commitments.

  • Coordinate delivery across multiple teams (“pods”), balancing breadth across several pods and depth where required.

  • Partner with upstream/downstream teams and senior stakeholders to meet compliance, legal, audit and risk requirements.

  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture, supporting mentoring, structured learning, and clear escalation where needed.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong delivery and project lifecycle capability within an Agile delivery environment, with a hands-on approach to making things happen

  • Experience delivering regulatory change and/or large multi-disciplinary change within a capital markets environment.

  • Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and associated delivery documentation and controls.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, gain buy-in on plans/roadmaps and communicate changes clearly across business and technology.

  • Strong organisational, planning and governance skills, including maintaining RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) and producing high-quality reporting.

  • Exposure to global initiatives/programmes and working effectively across locations and time zones.

  • Sound understanding of how support functions (Operations, Risk and Finance) contribute to investment banking delivery outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ownership and personal accountability for decisions, actions, and delivery outcomes.
