Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. The role requires strong English language skills and offers a hybrid work model with day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere Datastage to ensure efficient data integration.
Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Utilize SQL and PL/SQL to create optimize and maintain complex database queries and procedures.
Write and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance.
Apply data warehousing concepts to design and manage data storage solutions.
Schedule and monitor ETL jobs to ensure timely data availability for end-users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data integration projects.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL processes and data integration issues.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation and error-handling mechanisms.
Document ETL processes data flows and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL technologies.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and data processing efficiency.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
Nice to have domain experience in Finance & Accounting.
Must possess excellent English language skills (Read/Write Speak).
Must have a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 11 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
Must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be detail-oriented and able to document processes accurately.
Must be proactive in staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Must be able to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
