We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics
In this role, you will:
Responsible to Own and drive a consistent, effective control environment and operational resilience posture for a function, product, platform, or change portfolio—so risks are understood, controlled, tested, and recoverable within agreed impact tolerances
Responsible to ensure key risks are identified, assessed, and documented with clear risk appetite alignment
Assess control design adequacy and operating effectiveness, drive remediation where controls are weak, missing, or not evidenced.
Coordinate responses to audit findings, compliance reviews, and regulatory requests
Ensure documentation and evidence are “inspection-ready” (clear, current, traceable).
Support identification of Important Business Services (IBS) (where applicable) and mapping of dependencies (people, process, technology, third parties, premises).
Define and maintain resilience scenarios, testing plans, and lessons learned
Ensure BCP/DR alignment and that recovery objectives and impact tolerances are understood and tested.
Run/enable governance forums (risk & control committees, resilience working groups).
Escalate material risks and control gaps with clear options and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Should Own and drive a consistent, effective control environment and operational resilience posture for a function, product, platform, or change portfolio—so risks are understood, controlled, tested, and recoverable within agreed impact tolerances
Embed risk and control requirements into change delivery (new products, migrations, decommissions, process changes).
Ensure appropriate SDLC / change controls are followed (e.g., approvals, testing, segregation of duties).
Should Coordinate responses to audit findings, compliance reviews, and regulatory requests and Escalate material risks and control gaps with clear options and recommendations to the respective service line leads
Oversee third-party / supplier control considerations relevant to the area (due diligence inputs, ongoing monitoring, exit/contingency planning).
Responsible to Coach control owners and SMEs on “what good looks like” for evidence, testing, and documentation and publish best Practice to wider service line leads and team.
Drive continuous improvement through root-cause themes, control rationalization, and better MI.
