The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.
Function/Dept Purpose Statement:
Responsible for co-coordinating production plans and providing material forecast
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain periodic planning models
Govern SIOP meeting for plant. Highlight Supply vs demand gaps in time.
Create and publish weekly production schedules
Balances global customer demand with local manufacturing capacity
Partners with other manufacturing facilities to ensure local manufacturing output meets the global
inventory strategy and objectives
Ensures appropriate local stocking levels meets division On Time Shipment objectives
Collaborates with Procurement resources to insure raw material delivery for product plans and long
term supplier management.
communicates and aligns production plan (Master Production Schedule) with plant schedulers regularly
Exposure to Material/supply planning
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 7-10 year of experience in planning function
Expert user of Microsoft Excel/Power Bi
Analytical skills
Product and process manufacturing background
Experience working in Wire Harness/connectivity industry
Experience working with an ERP software
Strong conflict resolution skills, experience navigating multiple priorities
Experience working in a matrix organization
Experience collaborating across different teams, countries and functions
