Primary Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
Oversee workforce planning, staffing alignment, and operational readiness across shifts based on business needs
Improve cost/chart by measures including but not limited chart/day/coder and the effective utilization of resources
Manage client SLAs (turn-around-time, quality)
Ensure adherence to ICD 10 CM, CPT, HCPCS and payer specific guidelines and regulatory standards
Production planning - monthly, weekly and daily queue management, movement of resource on need basis
Project management - Resource planning as per project scope, risk management and escalation management. Achieving client and organization objectives for a given project
Diligently use data driven tools and application to drive performance and decision making
Collaborate with supervisors and cross functional teams to streamline workflows and leverage analytics for operational improvements
Team Management
Building capability through structured learning, SME development, certification support, and leadership coaching
Career Management and development of leaders
People Engagement (One-One's, Team meeting, skip meeting etc.,); Attrition Management
Manage performance, engagement, and skill development of coders and coding managers, promoting a high performance culture
Stakeholder Management
Maintain solid stakeholder engagement by providing consistent updates, alignment discussions, and predictable delivery
Manage client interaction over conference calls and/or emails
Conduct routine governance reviews and present performance KPIs, RCA/CAPA status, and operational insights to leadership and the process stakeholders
Process Improvement
Drive efficiency and productivity initiatives
Improve client and employee experience by continuous improvements
Collaborate with supervisors and cross functional teams to streamline workflows and leverage analytics for operational improvements
Drives generation and execution of ideas at an organizational level
Support technology adoption, including coding tools, automation, quality dashboards, and workflow enhancements

Required Qualifications:
Any Graduate (Bachelor's or master's degree in Life & clinical Sciences preferred)
15+ years of experience in US Healthcare operations such as medical coding, RCM, provider, and clinical coding processes
3+ years of experience working as Senior Manager or equivalent level
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CPC or CCS or equivalent certifications from AAPC or AHIMA
Experience in process improvement or Operational excellence
