Position Details:
The Opportunity:
As the WSU ROAR Program and Outreach Coordinator for the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences, you will support the successful implementation of program operations through comprehensive administrative, organizational, and student-focused responsibilities. You will lead and manage WSU ROAR admissions, WSU Ready to ROAR (a one-week summer experience for high school aged students with intellectual disabilities), and program outreach activities with schools, families and community partners. In this role, you will also provide direct and ongoing student support, organize events, manage ordering and program materials, and support evaluation related data collection.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time (100% FTE), temporary position. This position is overtime eligible.
Temporary End Date:
This is a grant-funded position that is expected to be renewed annually until the project concludes on September 30, 2030. Renewal will depend on the need for extension and/or performance. International candidates who qualify must sponsor their own visa.
Monthly Salary:
$4,061.90 - $5,077.37 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities in employment, transition planning, or community-based services.
• A master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
