Why This Role Matters As a Software Platform Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of modernizing how we build, test, and release software and firmware for critical power infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the reliability and security of electrical grids worldwide, while helping our development teams work more efficiently and effectively. What You'll Do * Build the Future: Design and implement a platform supporting scalable build and test systems with integrated device farms * Solve Complex Problems: Integrate cloud native ecosystem with embedded build processes * Automate Everything: Build and test vm provisioning, dashboards and reports, security tools all working together supporting many teams and product lines * Innovate Testing: Support device emulation clouds and hardware-in-the-loop test farms * Collaborate Globally: Work with talented engineers across firmware, software, infrastructure, network and security teams * Secure Platform: Administer and support on-premise cloud native tools, ensuring security and reliability. Your Tech Stack Development Environments * Cross-platform development on Windows and Linux * Modern IDEs: Visual Studio, VS Code Languages & Tools * Go, Python, C# or C++ * Bash, and PowerShell for automation Infrastructure & DevOps * CI/CD with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD * Kubernetes, Docker, Kubevirt and VMware * Observability Stack * Artifact and SBOM Tools * Various Cloud Native Tools What We're Looking For Must-Haves * Strong foundation in using and administering cloud native tools * Experience with build and test automation * Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration Nice-to-Haves * Networking knowledge * Cybersecurity experience Ready to Power the Future?
