The Opportunity:

 

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support the mission of Student Affairs by proving the pharmacy staff support with various tasks including operating the cash register, stocking shelves, filing records, assisting with inventory management and cleaning surfaces, helping to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy. This position performs all duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

 

Additional Information:

 

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

 

Monthly Salary:

 

$3,581 to $4,771 | Range 40 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=357-28.

 

In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Knowledge of: basic principles of pharmacy operations.

 

• Ability to: understand oral and written directions from registered pharmacists; operate typewriter and other word processing equipment; organize and plan work effectively.

 

• Washington State registration as a pharmacy assistant.

 

• Persons legally authorized to work in the U.S. under federal law, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients, are eligible for employment unless prohibited by other state or federal law.

 

• Must be 18 years of age.
