The Opportunity:
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing support services for the Patient Services unit of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The duties of this position includes but is not limited to providing support services in patient care areas such as Small, Ag, and Large Animal reception, cashier, and switchboard.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:
$3,417 to $4,542 | Range 38 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=357-28.
In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of general office experience or one year of office or customer service experience in a healthcare setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Must be able to work alternate schedule, including evenings and weekends.
One year cash handling experience also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a medical setting.
Experience answering a multi-line phone system.
Experience working reception in a medical or veterinary setting.
