The Opportunity:
The Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) is focused on proactively increasing WSUAA membership and expanding the ways alumni and friends of WSU can become meaningfully engaged with the University.
As the Engagement Coordinator, you will work closely with volunteers in select chapters/clubs/affinity groups to engage alumni in meaningful ways that inspire and promote support of WSU. In this role, you would be responsible for reporting, volunteer training and support of regional activities, collaboration with campus advancement colleagues, volunteer cultivation and retention efforts as designated by the Manager, Volunteer Engagement. You will ensure that volunteer events are tracked appropriately for data in the Advancement CRM (attendee information, new contacts, etc.) and also identify potential alumni/volunteers for connection with advancement colleagues (either college or central).
You will often attend volunteer meetings as well as coordinate and work at strategic centrally planned events where needed. Plan, organize, implement and evaluate annual and special events that increase knowledge, awareness, interest, engagement, involvement, and commitment from WSU's alumni constituent groups.
Coordinates event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, marketing and forecasting are focused on but not limited to events such as alumni panels, volunteer trainings and conferences, professional development activities, lecture series, pub crawls, community service projects, and athletics viewing parties.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. This position is located in Pullman WA, and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule.
Monthly Salary: $3,750.85 - $5,397.56 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience, which includes six (6) months of full-time experience in marketing, gift solicitation or public contact work with evidence of ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing and organize and execute assignments.
