JM Eagle Maintenance Electrician in Pueblo West, Colorado

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low and high voltage systems, and a solid understanding of electrical codes such as NEC. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of troubleshooting complex electrical issues, reading schematics and blueprints, and working safely on industrial machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Electrician will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are upheld.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring in industrial commercial settings.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately perform electrical installations and repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues.
  • Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
  • Perform renovation work involving electrical upgrades or modifications to existing facility and warehouses.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols in accordance with NEC standards and local regulations during all tasks.
  • Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines, electrical motors, and programmable controllers
  • Repairs or replaces faulty PLCs DC, AC drives.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.

     

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial commercial electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems. 1 year experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
  • Familiarity with NEC standards and safety regulations applicable to industrial environments.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing electrical issues efficiently.
  • Experience working on projects involving electrical work is preferred.
