Now Hiring: Weld Technicians – Pueblo, CO
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $22/hour + $3/hour shift differential (after training)
Shift: Must be open to 2nd shift
Schedules:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (2-2-3 schedule)
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Mon–Thurs, Friday OT as needed)
Job Overview
Join a rapidly expanding manufacturing team supporting the green energy sector! We are seeking experienced Weld Technicians to perform MIG welding and related fabrication tasks on mild steel and stainless steel. This role offers strong long-term growth potential, a climate‑controlled facility, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components
Prep and fabricate materials including tack welding, sanding, grinding, and layout work
Inspect welded components to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain welding equipment and restock consumables as needed
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-production environment
Required Skills
Proficiency in welding processes: SAW, MIG, TIG, Oxy‑Acetylene
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with large-diameter rolling and overhead crane operation
Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation
Familiarity with welding automation and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Preferred Skills
Fabrication and mechanical assembly experience
Previous work in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
