EMT/AEMT Course Coordinator
Location: Provo, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible hours
Pay/Salary: $24.09/hour

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the EMT/AEMT Course Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Creates, prepares, and delivers educational content that aligns with National EMS standards.
Gain a basic knowledge of quality assurance processes and solution implementation.
Key essential functions of this position include protocol development, procedure research, and accurate record-keeping.
Assist with program oversight.
Support student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning.
Ensure your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations.
Partner with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience.
Lead by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness.
Participate in a professional development plan, monitor industry requirements, and stay current with updates.
Actively participate in program development, accreditation efforts, employer advisory committees, and campus-wide events.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:
Education: A high school diploma.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience.
Industry Credentials & Certifications: Must have a current AEMT license and certification through the State of Utah. Must have a current EMS Instructor Certification through the State of Utah and the Office of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness (OEMSP). Must hold a current EMS Course Coordinator Certification through the State of Utah, Office of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness (OEMSP). Must be nationally certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Must possess a current American Heart Association BLS and First Aid Certification.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Experience with Canvas and curriculum development is a plus.
Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities.
Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, ensure industry standards are met, and maintain accurate records.
