Insight Global Remote ServiceNow Developer in Providence, Virginia
Job Description
• Lead development of ServiceNow ITAM solutions across HAM, SAM, and SaaS
• Design and build asset lifecycle workflows, reconciliation logic, and normalization rules
• Develop and enhance ServiceNow integrations with external systems
• Ensure CMDB and asset data accuracy, integrity, and compliance
• Conduct unit, system, and integration testing
• Troubleshoot ITAM and asset data issues
• Build dashboards, reports, and performance analytics for asset visibility
• Participate in architecture and design sessions
• Gather and translate ITAM-related requirements into scalable solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support and mentor junior developers on ITAM best practices
• Deliver client-facing demos and technical walkthroughs (often in person)

Skills and Requirements
• 15+ years of overall software development experience
• 10–12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong ServiceNow platform development skills (JavaScript, Glide API)
• Extensive experience with CMDB design, normalization, and reconciliation
• Comfortable presenting and delivering live demos to federal clients
• Ability to lead the development effort (technical lead, not people management)
Need a Bachelors degree • Prior experience supporting federal government clients
• Experience conducting in-person demos or briefings in Washington, DC
• Familiarity with Senate or legislative branch environments
• Agile development experience
• Experience with Discovery, integrations, and external asset data sources
• DMV-area residency
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM)
