Job Description Summary
The Applicator's responsibilities include but are not limited to delivery of fertilizer to fields, water run fertilizer applications, overseeing all Fertigation activities and maintenance of all Fertilizer equipment.
Job Description
Actively participate in Company Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice Programs.
Fertigation: Applies water run liquid fertilizer
In-Furrow: Mixes and applies fertilizer and/or pesticides at planting or cultivation that is applied directly to the furrow
Spraying: Mixes and applies a fertilizer and/or pesticide to roadsides, around buildings, or other areas, which includes backpack sprayers, road sprayers, etc.
Calibration: Calibrates fertilizer and/or pesticide delivery systems, such as fertilizer delivery systems on planters, seed treatment applications, or in-furrow pesticide applications
Equipment Maintenance: Repairs and maintains all fertigation equipment, including any fabrication or installation of new equipment
Housekeeping: Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and areas such as shop area, chemical storage areas, containment areas and airstrips.
