The Product Manager Lead is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of paraeducator and data products within the organization. This role exists to ensure that products are aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities. The Product Manager Lead oversees the full product lifecycle—from discovery and planning to delivery, launch, and optimization—working cross-functionally with engineering, design, research, operations, and business stakeholders. This position is accountable for defining product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, ensuring high-quality delivery, and guiding teams through data-driven decision-making.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and evolution of a scalable data platform that supports both internal product insights and customer-facing data products. Define requirements for data pipelines, reporting layers, and analytics tools that enable actionable insights across customer and commerce touchpoints.
Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to design reliable, well-governed data infrastructure that supports product decision-making, institutional reporting, and new data-driven services.
Own the development of new data-driven product opportunities from concept to launch. Identify market opportunities where data, reporting, or analytics capabilities can be packaged into new value for customers, including institutional reporting tools, insights products, or data services.
Drive discovery for new data products and features, including user research with institutional customers, problem framing, hypothesis testing, and rapid prototyping.
Define and monitor product success metrics, leveraging data platforms to measure adoption, engagement, and revenue impact of data products.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure strong alignment between platform capabilities, customer needs, and business objectives.
Champion experimentation and continuous learning, using both qualitative and quantitative insights to improve product outcomes and customer experience.
Explore and evaluate monetization opportunities across the data ecosystem, including premium analytics features, institutional dashboards, API access, or data services.
Ensure compliance with applicable privacy, security, and regulatory standards governing education and assessment data.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Experience building or managing data platforms that support reporting, analytics, or customer-facing data products.
Experience translating complex data into usable products such as dashboards, reporting tools, or analytics platforms for customers or institutional users.
Experience identifying and developing new revenue opportunities from data capabilities, including premium insights products, analytics services, or platform features.
Strong experience leading 0-to-1 product development, including opportunity identification, problem validation, MVP development, and scaling.
Familiarity with modern data architectures, APIs, system integrations, and analytics environments.
Experience working with institutional or enterprise customers to understand reporting and analytics needs and translate them into scalable product capabilities.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Experience working within digital commerce platforms or e-commerce ecosystems (Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred).
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data insights into product and business decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of progressive product management experience, including ownership of roadmap, discovery, delivery, and cross-functional execution.
Proven experience building or managing data products, including defining requirements for data pipelines, analytics layers, dashboards, or reporting tools.
PREFERRED:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Data Analytics, Human-Centered Design, or related discipline.
Experience in the education, assessment, workforce development, or credentialing industry.
Background working with modern data technologies (e.g., APIs, event streaming, cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT solutions).
Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams without direct authority.

The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base pay is only one aspect of the Total Rewards Package that will be offered to the successful candidate.
