Shipping Associate - Meat Processing FacilityPosition Summary The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping meat products in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures all outgoing orders meet quality, safety, and accuracy standards while complying with USDA and food safety regulations.Key Responsibilities- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment- Verify product accuracy, weights, and labeling- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate carriers- Maintain cold chain integrity during handling and loading- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently- Inspect outgoing products for quality and compliance- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area- Follow all food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety guidelinesQualifications- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred- Experience in food or meat processing is a plus- Basic computer and inventory system skills- Strong attention to detail and organization- Ability to work in a team environmentPhysical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods- Comfortable working in cold environmentsWork Environment- Refrigerated production and warehouse areas- Fast-paced, physically demanding setting- Exposure to machinery and cold temperatures
