Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Butcher is responsible for the efficient and safe breakdown, trimming, and preparation of meat products in a production environment. This role ensures product quality, yield optimization, and adherence to food safety and regulatory standards while supporting daily production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesTrim, portion, and prepare meat products for further processing, packaging, or distributionMaintain high standards of product quality, consistency, and presentationMaximize yield while minimizing waste and reworkFollow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP proceduresOperate knives, saws, grinders, and other processing equipment safely and efficientlyPerform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issuesAccurately label, track, and handle product to ensure traceabilityMaintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with USDA and company standardsMeet daily production quotas and timelinesCollaborate with supervisors and team members to improve processes and efficiency
