Reporting directly to the Janitorial Manager, we are currently seeking a Janitor
for our *Evening Shift *
to be based at our Price, UT facility.
Job Description
*Job Title: Janitor *
Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning buildings and keeping office areas clean by performing the following duties.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Friday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Salary:
Arranged with employer
Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned.
- Clean buildings by emptying trash, cleaning surfaces, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean and disinfect office equipment
- Sanitize high touch surfaces
- Steam-clean carpets as needed
- Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
- Mix various cleaning agents
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
- Move heavy equipment and furniture
- Identify and report possible repairs
- Stock all toilet paper and paper towel dispensers
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations, understand potential chemical hazards
- Identify and report possible repairs
Other Duties
- Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Comes to work on time.

- Follows and complies with IE Core Values. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven working experience as a Janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven working experience as a Janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
- Must b e able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Color Vision and Ability to adjust focus.
