Behavior Support Coach
You are passionate about supporting children's social-emotional development and equipping teachers with practical, research-based tools that make a real difference. As our Behavior Support Coach, you'll provide leadership, coaching, and hands-on support to teaching teams to strengthen positive behavior systems and create safe, nurturing, and inclusive classrooms.
In this role, you'll help implement the Pyramid Model framework and Conscious Discipline strategies while guiding staff through Tier 1 universal supports, Tier 2 targeted interventions, and Tier 3 individualized behavior plans. Your ability to analyze behavior data, model effective practices, and collaborate across teams will ensure children receive the consistent support they need to thrive.

What you'll need to be our Behavior Support Coach:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field required
Experience with behavior support, Pyramid Model, or Conscious Discipline preferred
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to model practices and provide constructive feedback
Ability to analyze behavior situations and develop effective intervention strategies
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and reporting
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow RUCD policies and Head Start Performance Standards
Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as required

What you'll do as the Behavior Support Coach:
Provide coaching and support to teaching teams to implement Pyramid Model practices with fidelity
Model and promote Conscious Discipline strategies to strengthen emotional regulation and relationship-based practices
Support implementation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 behavior supports, including individualized Positive Support Plans
Conduct classroom observations and collect behavior data to guide intervention planning
Assist teams in developing and implementing behavior intervention strategies
Provide training and professional development on behavior support practices
Collaborate with families, supervisors, and specialists to ensure consistent support for children
Maintain documentation of coaching activities, behavior plans, and progress monitoring
Participate in program meetings, leadership teams, and quality improvement efforts
Perform additional duties as assigned
