What You Will Experience
This is not a shadowing programme. You will work on real projects that influence decision-making across payments, lending, digital wallets, and financial services products.
You will:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions
Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
Build dashboards and reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI and Python
Work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake
Contribute to initiatives involving analytics, machine learning and AI
Present insights to business stakeholders and incorporate feedback
Participate in structured mentorship and personal development programmes
You will gain exposure to both the technical and commercial side of analytics — understanding not just how to analyse data, but why it matters.
What We Are Looking For
A recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics or a related field
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Interest in programming languages such as SQL and Python
Curiosity about data platforms, visualisation tools and AI
Strong communication skills — able to explain insights clearly
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
South African citizenship
You do not need to know everything. You need curiosity, discipline, and the drive to learn.
